Was our final test sail with our Volcat16 because we had to be sure about his safety in any situation. So, it was time to challenge this test in one of the nicest bay of the world. 😊
Two other fearless sailors and me jumped on bord and Norbert took the steering wheel of the Rib. After leaving the Vendée Globe pontoon in Port Olona – Les Sables, we tugged the cat through the famous channel of Les Sables d’Olonne. ⛵
Once free, offshore, serious business could start. 🌀 Pushed and uncompromisingly steered the boat responded well to a various bunch of sailing manoeuvres and offered really nice and promising insights of how much funny pleasure it could bring to its future owners. 🌊👌👍
As the water seemed rather good, it was hard to resist… So we voluntarily capsized it and…… finally brought it back up to the wind ! 🛟✌️ Many thanks to Julien and Benoit for their time and help with the “crazy but necessary testing”, you did a great job ! 🙏💪
