Annie with the Open60AAL

The team has been really busy these months and didn’t have much time to let you all know what was going on lately… So many exciting projects and achievements though ! I’ll try to give you some insights. 🧐

But first, let me keep the suspense going on a little and give you some clues about me. I’m Annie and I’m thrilled to join Innovation Yachts crew ! ☺️

I used to work in Geographic Information System (GIS) field 🌍, managing several data bases and producing maps. I’ve always been sensitive to environmental issues and global sustainability. ♻️

Boats and sailing had always made me dream. But it was just a dream… ✨ Until I spent half a day on a sailing yacht where I experienced the sweetness of the speed and the freedom feeling it brings up ! ⛵

Sometime later, Innovation Yachts built a shipyard in the area I live in. My dreams were knocking at my door ! ✨

With innovative ideas and materials, Innovation Yachts (IY) creates yachts that are recyclable and sustainable to enjoy the sea without destroying the planet ! Ok, of course I’m in !! 🤝

I now aim at presenting you all the amazing projects  while diving deeper into them. 📸📹

Communicating, organizing storage, drawing plans 💻, making simple technical tasks and giving a hand as much as possible seem a great way to become the real crew member I want to be. 👷‍♀️

But enough about me now. I hope you will enjoy to follow our new challenges and adventures! Stay tuned I’ll keep you posted… 🤓

Patience.

Nothing changed since yesterday, only around 4 knots of wind from W and flat sea, so I sail very slowly towards Les Sables and hope

Calm…

Very silent day on the ocean, heading with between 4 and 5 knots towards the French coast. ⛵🌞

Against all expectations the AIS comes to life now and again and gives me at least 3 hours of sleep with many interruptions.⏰ Other instruments
