Up at 4:30 a.m. and off we go…⏰

Open60AAL starboard, seen from rib, sails up, first sea trial - ANT ARCTIC LAB

Heading to Les Sables, because the lock at Port de Commerce opens at 6:30 a.m., and we’re setting sail for the first time to test the rig and various sails, as well as the hydro generators and all the onboard electronic systems of our Open60. ⛵

There’s a light breeze from the northwest, but the morning light combined with the mood of the clouds gives us wonderful views and puts us in the best of moods. Thanks to the escort of the Les Sables d’Olonne Vendée Course Au Large rib, with Christian, and the support boat from BJ Nautique, with Julien at the helm, we not only feel safe but also get great photos of our first test run. ☀️📷☺️

Thanks to my partners and my entire team for the great work, and now it’s time to “go full throttle” on the final tasks and preparations because “the countdown is on” 😊
