Back home from Amsterdam

Norbert pointing out the electric box where the broken relay is, in the keel compartment of the Open60AAL

We are super busy because the next service topic on the Open60AAL is a “really heavy job”, called the canting keel. “Back in time”, beside the problem with the keel head shaft which I explained when I had to abandon my world record attempt in 2023, we also found now this relay which is just sticking together, means “gone” ☹. But I’m rather glad about that, better now than at sea!

But now the good news, the team is preparing the workshop for the TEcoNaut project, called “Skills shadowing workshop” which starts in our yard tomorrow. We are very proud to take part of this future pointing developing program, co-founded by the European community, and therefore to become a recognized partner for explaining and teaching the use of our future pointing materials!

A busy weekend!

A busy week-end after a busy week, but therefore the serviced and updated on-board PCs with all their programmes and interfaces are running smoothly again😊
